Summary

Overview

Karla Consults gives color and material advice for homes and businesses, built on more than 15 years of hands-on work. Karla's focus is color psychology: how the right palette shapes mood and how a space feels to live in. The brand needed that same sense of expertise and warmth. The goal was to position her as a trusted, personal guide clients could rely on.

Challenge

Color consulting is a service most people do not know they need until they see it explained well. The brand and site had to make the offer legible in seconds, sound like Karla herself, and make booking simple.

Process

01 Discovery

Understanding the services, the clients, and the questions people ask before they book.

02 Identity

Logo, colors, and type aimed at a look that feels both expert and personal.

03 Website

Service pages that explain the offer plainly, with a direct booking path.

04 Voice

A tone of voice that sounds like Karla on every page.

01 The Identity

The Brand, Restrained on Purpose

A brand about color has to be careful with color. The identity uses a quiet base so the palettes Karla creates for clients stay the focus in every portfolio image and social post.

The guide names two colors and stops there. One dark green, one sand. Alongside the lockup there is a Kc logomark for the places the full name will not fit, which on a consulting practice means most of them: a favicon, a profile picture, a stamp on a sample board.

The Business Cards

A card and a website are the two places a consultant is judged before any of the work is seen, and the cards carry the same restraint as the site.

The lockup sits alone on the green. The ask sits alone on the sand. A QR code stands in for the web address, which would otherwise run to a second line and say nothing the card has not already said.

03 The Site

The Homepage

The first job of the site was to answer the question a visitor arrives with. What does a color consultant do, and is it for me. The homepage answers it with one finished room at full width, and a single line under it.

04 The Site

Every Service, Priced on the Page

The services page answers the rest. Six consultations, each listing what it covers, what it costs, and how long the write-up takes.

Putting the price there is the point. A homeowner can tell in one screen whether this is for them, and nobody has to book a call to find out.

Each card ends on the same button, so booking stays one click away from any page on the site.

The Projects Page

The practice already ran on referrals. The site keeps that working, with pages that are easy to send, and adds the search presence the practice needed to grow beyond word of mouth.
